In London, the show was retitled - Close To You: Bacharach Reimagined. Most recently, Kyle created and starred in “What's It All About?: Bacharach Reimagined” at New York Theatre Workshop (“Once”, “Rent”, “Peter and the Starcatcher”) and subsequently in London at The Menier Chocolate Factory and The Criterion Theater in the West end, where the show broke box office records. He has also appeared as an actor in various film and tv projects. Next, Kyle went on to star on Broadway and in the first national tour of the acclaimed rock musical “Spring Awakening” and subsequently starred on Broadway in the hit revival of “Hair”.

He released a full length album (Before I Speak) of original music on Columbia/Aware Records at the age of 17.

Riabko's already 15 year career has included a little bit of everything – songwriting, touring, producing, acting on television and on Broadway, creating an acclaimed off-broadway and West End show – but all of it comes from the same place:Īfter a childhood of honing his musicianship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, Kyle spent his teen years performing as an opening act for a wide range of artists, including BB King, James Brown, Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer, and others.
